Information we collect
Information you give us
When you complete an enquiry form on this website, we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, that may include your name, work email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, company name, website address, your budget range, your intended timeline, and whatever you write in the free-text field.
If you contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp, we collect the contact details you use and the content of the conversation.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security layer records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site running, to diagnose faults and to protect against abuse.
We also use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure the performance of our own marketing. These are described in the Cookies section below.
Information we do not want
Please do not send us special category information, such as details about health, religion, political opinions or biometric data, through our forms. We do not need it and we do not ask for it.
Why we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, quotation or scope of work. Without this information we cannot reply to you.
- To provide our services under a signed engagement, including reporting and account management.
- To manage our business, including invoicing, record keeping and resolving disputes.
- To improve this website and understand which pages and campaigns generate genuine enquiries.
- To send occasional relevant updates to existing clients and to people who have asked to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations in the United Arab Emirates and in other countries where we operate.
Where the law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent (for optional cookies and marketing messages), on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one (for enquiries and client work), on our legitimate interests in running and improving a business (for site security, analytics and business records), and on legal obligation where applicable.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which make the site work. These include session and security cookies and a local browser entry that remembers whether you have already been shown our enquiry pop-up, so that you are not shown it repeatedly.
- Analytics and advertising technologies, which help us measure traffic and the performance of our own campaigns. These may be provided by Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or similar platforms, and they may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We do share it with service providers who help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- Website hosting and security providers, who store the site and its database.
- Email and productivity providers, through which enquiries reach us.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, including Google, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn, for measurement of our own marketing.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, by a regulator or by a court of competent jurisdiction, or to establish or defend legal claims.
International transfers
We are based in Dubai and we work with clients and suppliers in the United Kingdom, the wider Gulf and elsewhere. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside the country you live in, including in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with the law that applies to it, including contractual safeguards with our providers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and then for as long as we are required to keep financial and contractual records, which is generally at least five years.
- Website and security logs: a short rolling period, typically no more than 12 months.
When information is no longer needed we delete it or anonymise it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer have a reason to keep;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing;
- transfer certain information to another provider; and
- withdraw consent, where our use of the information is based on consent.
If you are in the United Arab Emirates, these rights are set out in Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. If you are in the United Kingdom, they are set out in the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@primeleadmarketing.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Data Office; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website and our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, including advertising platforms and our own social profiles. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change we will make that clear on this page.
